Charlotte Peach (q.v.) and John William Philpot[t] counterclaimed for the remainder of legacy of 拢3000 under the will of John Vernon for the enslaved people on Vernons in Antigua. The two individuals were the children of Susanna Teresa Vernon, a daughter of John Vernon of Vernons and Little Fosters Egham (d. 1765) and her husband Francis Philpot jun.
