Biography

Thomas and Richard Shubrick were merchants and slave-factors in Charleston and London. James Irving the elder reportedly mortgaged Hartfield Estate to Thomas Shubrick and Richard Shubrick of London, merchants, for 拢17,227 18s 3d c. 1766.

  1. The will of Richard Shubrick merchant of [Barge Yard] Walbrook proved 12/09/1765 identified his brother as Thomas Shubrick and his nephew and son both as Richard.
