London merchant, partner with Vincent John Biscoe (q.v.). Mortgagee-in-possession in his own name of Friendship estate (Jamaica, parish unknown) from at least 1752-1763, and with Biscoe also mortgagee of Golden Grove.

"A merchant of London", inherited Biersted manor in Surrey from John Godfrey Esquire in 1757; he bequeathed it to Vincent Biscoe Esquire. In his will, he described John Godfrey as his late cousin.
Marmaduke Hilton, "a West India merchant", died 03/01/1768 aged 57, buried at Limpsfield, Surrey, 11/01/1768.
Will of Marmaduke Hilton, Merchant of Austin Friars, City of London, proved 15/01/1768. The will makes no mention of West Indian property. He left 拢12,000 in trust for his sisters, and made his partner Vincent John Biscoe his sole executor and residuary legatee.
