Biography

Nephew and co-heir of John Gray Rector of Marischal College.

  1. Will of John Thomas late of the parish of St George but now] of City of London proved 21/06/1784. He left in trust his property including one moiety of the Grays Inn estate with the enslaved people on it to support annuities of 拢150 p.a. to his mother Mrs Jean Davidson; 拢30 p.a. to Mrs Ingram widow of his late uncle Adam Ingram, and 拢1500 in three legacies of 拢500 to other family and friends. His residuary legatee was John Elmslie.
