Biography

Owner of Prospect in Westmoreland, shown as alive 1810-1811 and dead by 1815, probably by 1812. William Haldane Esq., shown as dying in Westmoreland in February 1799, was presumably a relative.

  1. An inventory for William Haldane of Westmoreland drawn up in 1812 valued his coffee estate, equipment and enslaved people at some 拢12,500 (of which the people accounted for 拢5775), according to Simon D. Smith.
