Son of Sir John Taylor 1st bart. (who d. 1786) of Lysson Hall Jamaica and Elizabeth Houghton or Haughton. Nephew and heir of Simon Taylor. Died in London, leaving 拢100,000. Simon Taylor's estates passed under his own will to Simon Richard Brissett Taylor's sister Susannah, married to George Watson Taylor (q.v.).
