Original grantee in Tobago of Courland Bay division (St David parish) Lots nos. 15 (200 acres 19/03/1767) and 16 (300 acres 16/05/1766); by 1773, he was also the owner of Barbados Bay division (St George parish) Lots nos. 24 (80 acres) 25 (380 acres) and 26 (220 acres). Woodcock shows St David Lot no. 15 becoming part of Highlands, but also shows St David Lot no. 16 twice, once becoming part of 'Les Cateau' [Les Coteaux] and once as 'Part of Highlands', while he shows St George Lot no. 24 becoming part of Concordia and Lot no. 25 as becoming part of Highlands.

1. In the will of Torquil otherwise Torquill MacVicar, Planter of Tobago, proved 22/08/1788 (made 17/01/1787), MacVicar left to his nephew Dugald MacVicar £20 currency p.a. and to his niece Elizabeth Campbell £100 currrency p.a., both secured on Highlands, while the remainder of his estate went to his nephew Charles MacVicar, whom he appointed executor alongside 'my nephew Duncan Campbell of St Vincent' and 'William Stuart of this Island.' In a codicil of 15/04/1787 he left to his three nieces Barbara, Betsy and Molly Campbell, the daughters of his sister Mary MacVicar, the sum of £607 now in the hands of Messrs Cumming Dugald of Glasgow and £50 held by John Campbell of Killdayley [= Kildalloig?] near Campbelltown.
