William Johnstone was shown as the owner of Granton and Boisjency estates on Grenada who was advanced 拢10,000 by the British state to re-establish the estates in two instalments, 拢2000 28/11/1795 and 拢8000 04/04/1797. William Johnstone also appeared as the potential recipient of the estates of the bankrupt Francis Henderson in Grenada in 1800.
