Laws academics honoured in Student Choice Teaching Awards

,Ìý,Ìý,ÌýÌý²¹²Ô»åÌý of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Laws have been all been honoured in the .

Shiva Riahi was nominated in the ‘Outstanding Personal Support’ category which celebrates excellence in academic guidance and pastoral care.

Dr Wagner-von Papp, Dr Azaria, Professor Mitchell and  Professor O’Keefe were nominated in the ‘Outstanding Teaching’ category which recognises transformative, high quality teaching. Professor O’Keefe won the Award for Outstanding Teaching, only one of three professors at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø to receive the honour.

The awards, set up and run by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø students, and supported by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø, are now in their fourth year. This year over 350 nominations were received, the largest number ever for these awards.  A panel of thirteen students formed the judging panel for the awards, including departmental, faculty, and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøU representatives.

Prizes will be formally awarded at the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøU Teaching & Learning Conference on Tuesday 19 April.
