Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøH top in analysis of trial recruitment

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøH is the highest recruiter among Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøPartners (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøP) organisations in 2021 to clinical trials run in conjunction with the healthcare company IQVIA.

Figures from IQVIA, which works which NHS Trusts and universities across the UK to deliver commercially sponsored clinical trials, show that at the midway point in 2021, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøH had recruited 231 participants of the 1165 recruited across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøP as whole to IQVIA associated trials.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøP is made up of NHS Trusts and universities across North and East London, Essex, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. This includes 23 NHS Trusts.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøP is an IQVIA ‘Prime Site’ – a high-performing clinical trial centre. There are four Prime Sites across the UK. Halfway through 2021, the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøP Prime Site is also the top recruiter to trials among all Prime Sites.

IQVIA is currently involved in 20% of all commercial clinical trials within the NHS. 35% of their trials are run through their network of Prime Sites. IQVIA aim to work with clinical trial sites to maximise recruitment, and ensure efficient management of research studies.
