Jose Luis Hernandez-Ramirez

Bio

Mexican economist with vast experience developing spatiotemporal models for crime analysis and Policing models (Evidence Based and Smart Policing). Previously worked for the Mexican Government at the National Security Ministry and Mexican Federal Police. International Speaker at Stanford University, International Association of Crime Analysts, Chilean Attorney General Office and numerous Law Enforcement Agencies and Police Departments in North America (FBI, DEA, New York, Washington D.C., Seattle, Vancouver, etc).

Geographic Intelligence Modelling: A hybrid analytical model of geographic intelligence on criminal groups

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a hybrid analytical quantitative and qualitative model called 鈥淕eographic Intelligence on criminal groups鈥 to identify the crime commission process and determine the geographic locations where crimes are committed, with the purpose of identifying and dismantling the strategic connections inside criminal groups.
