About the role

The Lecturer (Teaching) will have responsibility for the design, development and delivery of science entrepreneurship-related modules, including digital and technology components and will have responsibility in conjunction with the Programme Director and other Module Leads for the organisation, growth and strategic management of the programme, for continued quality and the academic experience of the students on the programme. The post holder will also contribute to other teaching, seminars or short courses as required.

The post holder will also have opportunities for their own pedagogic development through access to Faculty and Arena workshops and the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Higher Education Fellowship scheme.

About you

You will have a solid knowledge of concepts, practices, trends and dynamics within bioscience entrepreneurship, innovation, technology transfer, digital health, knowledge exchange or aligned fields, based on a deep scientific literacy, educational background and professional practice.

You will demonstrate excellence in teaching and/or outstanding teaching evaluations. Significant experience of teaching for, or about, biosciences entrepreneurship and experienceÌýworking with students is essential. In addition, you will have an innovative approach to the design and delivery of curricula that workÌýacross twin disciplines within business and science.

You will be able to demonstrate experience of working collaboratively with a wide range of students and colleagues to identify and address issues and improve the quality of education in response to feedback.

A PhD in a relevant subject or equivalent professional qualification or experience is desirable.
