Project HERCULES

• Securing data from clinical examination equipment at Brent Cross, primarily with respect to timing of start/finish of a patient鈥檚 test on that device
• To work with colleagues at 香港六合彩中特网 Bartlett CASA to 鈥渢riangulate鈥� timing of patient tests with (1) data from equipment, (2) from the UWB tracking system (Prof Duncan Wilson) and (3) directly observed timing (Prof Kerstin Sailer).
• To curate demographic data (age, sex, race) and draw on clinical record data to generate measures of ophthalmic disease severity, and systemic comorbidity for these research participants
• To lead the analysis of the agreement (or not) between these numerical data, and to work with Hari, Sobha and I to look at how demographic and medical characteristics influence patient journey time in the Brent Cross Diagnostic Hub.

Longitudinal trends in MEH Glaucoma data related to 鈥渕ajor events鈥�

To lead a project drawing on routinely collected data in Moorfields glaucoma patients, with particular emphasis on visual field and IOP data, and to analyse the longitudinal trends in individual patient values for IOP, mean defect and VF reliability indices with variations in climatic variables, primarily temperature, with the hypothesis that the values of the ophthalmic variables become become 鈥渨orse鈥� during extreme temperature events, and especially with very temperatures.

About you

The successful applicant will have a strong biomedical engineering and data analytics background. Experience with ophthalmic data processing, including fundus photography, optical coherence tomography, and standard automated perimetry is essential.
