Dr Aksoy said: 鈥淚 am honoured and grateful to have received the 2019 Raymond Boudon award from the European Academy of Sociology. I fully endorse the Academy鈥檚 mission in promoting sociology and maintaining rigorous disciplinary standards on a Europe-wide basis. Raymond Boudon鈥檚 work has influenced my own research and teaching. It is thus very motivating to receive this meaningful recognition from the Academy.鈥
