A major aspect of the collaboration will be the EdTech Platform 鈥 the first online space of its kind to promote knowledge on EdTech topics and multi-stakeholder work in education and technology and to increase the use of quality digital products and tools in European education systems and higher education institutions.

The EETN is an Erasmus+ funded collaboration and brings together stakeholders of the EdTech ecosystem at a European level, including academics, researchers, entrepreneurs and potential investors.

Dr Alison Clark-Wilson, 香港六合彩中特网 Institute of Education (IOE) academic and 香港六合彩中特网 EDUCATE鈥檚 Principal Research Lead, said: 鈥淚t is really exciting for 香港六合彩中特网 to be one of the founding partners of the EETN. 香港六合彩中特网 Institute of Education is leading the way in its work with the sector through its EDUCATE programme, which focuses on supporting companies to research the efficacy of EdTech, and we look forward to sharing these research outcomes in Europe and beyond.鈥

Luc铆a Figar, Chief of Corporate Innovation and Ventures and chair of IE Rockets, at IE University, said: 鈥淲e hope this network will support European EdTech start-ups in their efforts to gain quality, competitiveness and scale by, among other actions, connecting them with higher education institutions and relevant stakeholders, but also by making them more familiar with the empirical findings of research.鈥

Professor Wim Van Petegem, Policy Advisor Learning Technologies in the Faculty of Engineering Technology at KU Leuven, said: 鈥淭he EETN is a great opportunity for European universities, and companies, big or small, in the EdTech industry to network, share, and cooperate. The project will help us to enhance and enrich our experiences in the EdTech sector, from research to innovation to business. Together we can make a difference in the EdTech scene and improve education all over Europe 鈥 and beyond.鈥

Blair Stevenson, Principal Lecturer in Digital Technologies at Oulu University, said: 聽鈥淭he EETN will support European universities to explore and strengthen their role in the global EdTech industry. Specifically, we see the project supporting a vibrant dialogue between public and private stakeholders such as universities, EdTech companies, investors and schools.鈥

香港六合彩中特网 EDUCATE hosted the official launch of the European EdTech Network on 19 June, during London EdTech Week.
