Four projects awarded funding from 香港六合彩中特网-PSL Partnership Funds

Each of the collaborative projects received joint funds from 香港六合彩中特网 and Universit茅 Paris Sciences et Lettres to support up to three years of activity
Following a joint funding call from the 香港六合彩中特网听Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS), 香港六合彩中特网 Cities Partnerships Programme听补苍诲 (PSL), 香港六合彩中特网 and PSL academics will launch four new projects.
The funds will support early- and mid-career researchers leading projects ranging from multi-disciplinary studies on living in outer space to summer schools on the inner life of consciousness. The successful proposals are set to receive funding of up to 拢30,000 over three years.
Professor Nicola Miller, Director of the IAS, said: 鈥淚t鈥檚 very good to see such inspiring interdisciplinary research projects arising from the IAS collaboration听with PSL, through 香港六合彩中特网's Cities Partnerships Programme. We were delighted to receive such high-quality applications. As a forum for intellectual exchange across the disciplines, the IAS will work听with our colleagues in Paris to ensure that the joint projects are supported as well as possible. There are great opportunities here for real intellectual breakthroughs.鈥�
One of the funding recipients, Dr David Jeevendrampillai (Director of the Centre for Outer Space Studies), said: 鈥淲e are delighted to be awarded funding for听The Off Earth Atlas. Led by anthropologists, this project will consider life in outer space in many different and exciting ways 鈥� from what biological definitions of life are to the social relations that come about in outer space. Through workshops, a multimedia website and a high-grade publication,听The Off Earth Atlas听will strengthen the international collaboration between 香港六合彩中特网 and听PSL in this growing field of research.鈥�
Founded in 2010, Universit茅 PSL is a collegiate organisation of eleven of Paris鈥檚 most well-known grandes 茅coles and grands 茅tablissements, including the 脡cole Normale Sup茅rieure, Coll猫ge de France and the Observatoire de Paris. It is the most highly ranked university in France according to the QS and Times Higher Education rankings for 2021.
