Symposium strengthens Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø-AHRI research links

The first joint Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø-AHRI Symposium, 'Towards HIV and TB elimination in South Africa', took place on Monday 12 February at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's Bloomsbury campus.
Organised by the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Division of Infection and Immunity in conjunction with the SLMS Research Coordination Office, the one-day event brought together researchers from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) with those visiting from Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) in South Africa, to share their research and nurture further cross-disciplinary and global collaboration.
The event was attended by 170 people, and watched online by over 300 from 20 different countries via a live-stream.
