AFRAB participation at conference in honour of Professor Mouctar Bah, University of Maroua, Cameroon, May 2024

A conference in honour of the lifetime work of Professor Thierno Mouctar Bah was organised at the University of Maroua in Northern Cameroon on 8-10 May 2024. Professor Ahmadou Sehou, coordinator of the AFRAB Cameroon Team, was one of the main organisers of the event, which celebrated Professor’s Bah contributions to Cameroonian history and whose writings and institutional commitment left a profound mark in Cameroon’s culture of peace, national unity and national development. AFRAB participated through two panels of researchers from Cameroon and Niger, who presented their work on abolitionism in their respective regions of research focus. Ìý
