To realise its research strategy and ensure that all research conducted by members of staff, honorary staff, students and individuals who collaborate in research with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff and students conform to good practice and ethical expectations, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø has adopted a set of research governance policies and procedures. This framework underpins Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø’s expectations for the conduct of research and defines action to be taken in the event that an individual is suspected or accused of research misconduct. Two key components of the research governance framework areÌýÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's Code of Conduct for ResearchÌýand Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's arrangements forÌýinvestigating allegations of misconduct in academic research. The development of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's research governance strategy is the responsibility of theÌýResearch, Innovation and Global Engagement Committee, chaired by the Vice-Provost (Research, Innovation and Global Engagement).
