Emergency urbanism for more resilient urban planning

Dr Pushpa Arabindoo was among those recently interviewed by Benna Finn for ‘The Ours to Save’ podcast on Cities in crisis: Towards greener and more resilient urban planning.

The discussion looked into how responses to Covid 19 and climate change are shaping one another and how cities are being shaped in the process.

Pushpa talked about Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Urban Laboratory's current theme of emergency urbanism, how it relates to her reflections on pandemic cities in relation to the Indian city of Chennai as well as the promises and pitfalls of the pursuit of the ‘Smart Cities’ mission in India.
