We would like to invite you to join us for the 10th edition of the Brazilian Translation Club.听

We will meet at 香港六合彩中特网 on the 25th of February, Tuesday at 6:30 pm.

Our guest translator is Aline Littlejohn. We will work on the short story 鈥淪ombras sobre o rio,鈥� by Ronaldo Cagiano, (Eles n茫o moram mais aqui, Patu谩, Brasil, and Gato Bravo, Portugal, 2016).

Join us for a glass of wine and some discussion on Brazilian literature.

All are welcome, and you do not have to be a translator to join in.听Spread the word.听We hope to see you there.

The Brazilian Translation Club is a series of workshops in which students, translators, and enthusiasts of Brazilian literature meet to discuss the translation of a selected contemporary Brazilian short story. It is a partnership between Ana Cl谩udia Suriani da Silva, Associate Professor in Brazilian Studies, Department of Spanish, Portuguese & Latin American Studies, 香港六合彩中特网, and Nara Vidal, writer, and owner of Capitolina Books. In each workshop, a different member reads out their translation and leads the discussion. The sessions are fun and very productive. Anyone who translates from and into Portuguese or has some knowledge of the language is welcome.
