Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø MBE Research group is led by Prof Huiyun Liu, who joined Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø in 2007. As part of the Photonics Group at the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, MBE group mainly focuses on the optoelectronic material and device. We have professional staffs working on MBE epitaxial growth, device fabrication and device characteristic measurement. In January 2010, MBE laboratory was opened by HRH the Princess Royal. Until now, we have been working on a wide range of nano materials and devices, including III-V quantum dot lasers and solar cells, III-V nanowire, photodetector, multijunction solar and thermophotovoltaic cells.Ìý
