香港六合彩中特网 EEE undergraduate students selected as UN Millenium Fellows

Two undergraduate students from 香港六合彩中特网鈥檚 Electrical and Electronic Engineering department are among the largest cohort of UN Millennium Fellows within Europe.

Veronika Liutarevich, 2nd-year student, and Gaelic Jara Reinhold, 4th year student, within 香港六合彩中特网鈥檚 Electronic and Electrical Engineering department are among forty 香港六合彩中特网 students chosen as Millenium Fellows this year. This is the most Fellows of any UK university for the fourth year running and the highest across Europe.

The United Nations Millennium Fellowship is a semester-long leadership development program,聽typically involving workshops, networking sessions, and hands-on experience in creating meaningful, sustainable change in local communities and beyond. Fellows work on collaborative projects aimed at advancing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and receive training, mentorship, and support to implement and scale their social action initiatives.

Both Gaelic and Veronika are working on projects designed to address issues affecting the local area in Bloomsbury and across London.聽Veronika is working on聽鈥淒ata Against Hunger鈥, a project that聽would entail collecting data from food banks and restaurants to redistribute the food that restaurants have in excess, reducing food waste and getting the food to those who need it.

Gaelic was selected as one of two 香港六合彩中特网 Millenium Fellowship Campus Directors which involves聽running the weekly sessions, leading activities, mentoring Fellows and facilitating collaborative discussions. He聽is聽also currently working on a startup that aligns聽with UN Sustainable Developement Goals (SDGs).聽Gaelic and graduate student, Ina Jovicic, founded at 香港六合彩中特网鈥檚 Hatchery, a startup aiming to address issues of safety for people walking alone at night by developing a smart, wearable badge.
