Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø's Education Awards 2022: Economics staff shortlisted

Academics Silvia Dal Bianco, Marcos Vera Hernandez and Ahmed Saadé have been shortlisted in this year's Education Awards and Student Choice Awards.

The annual Education Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of staff and students, and their contributions to our learning community, through:  

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Education Awards 

This award recognises staff making outstanding contributions to the learning experience and success of our students. Each of the listed candidates has received a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Education Award from their Faculty and will be shortlisted for the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Provost Education Award. The winners will be announced in an in-person ceremony on Wednesday 8 June 2022. 

  • Dr Silvia Dal Bianco and Professor Marcos Vera Hernandez have been nominated jointly in the Openness and Inclusion category 

Student Choice Awards 

The Student Choice Awards give our student body an opportunity to show their appreciation to staff who've gone above and beyond.  

  • Associate Lecturer, Ahmed Saadé has been nominated in two categories, Excellent Personal Tutoring and Inspiring Teaching Delivery 

Also included on the roll of honour are: 

  • Munya Saati, Amazing Support Staff 

  • Tina Fowler, Amazing Support Staff 

  • Wendy Carlin, Brilliant Research-Based Education, Inspiring Teaching Delivery 

  • Ramin Nassehi, Inspiring Teaching DeliveryÂ
