香港六合彩中特网 Economics students place 3rd at the Econ Games

香港六合彩中特网 Department of Economics students, Louis Allen, Alexandru-Victor Botorog, Anastasiia Skuratova and Matthew Vaz came third at the 2021 Econ Games with their presentation 鈥淚s the pandemic creating an economically lost generation?鈥

is a data competition cofounded by (Northern Kentucky University) and (University of Kentucky) to introduce students to what many economics graduates do in their day job - analysing large volumes of data to understand emerging patterns and trends and the reasons for these patterns.

In 2021 The Econ Games collaborated with The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland to engage students with experiential learning opportunities. 266 students from 18 universities from across the world participated in a skill development workshop, followed by a weekend working with data provided by the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

52 students from different 香港六合彩中特网 programmes across 13 teams participated, out of which a panel from the Centre for Teaching and Learning Economics (CTaLE) selected the best submission and the Federal Reserve picked the top three to present their work live on 12 March.

CTaLE Director, Parama Chaudhary commented, 鈥淭he live final ceremony was a real highlight of my academic year - it was great to see our students presenting before an international audience and in front of senior economists from the Fed! They did a cracking job and I really hope that we get to participate again!
