Department of Economics PhD student receives Education Awards

Congratulations to PhD student Silvia Sarpietro who has received a Faculty Education Award and been nominated for the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Provost’s Education Award

The department is pleased to announce that PhD student Silvia Sarpietro has received a Faculty Education Award and been nominated for the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Provost’s Education Award in the PGTAs category.

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Education Awards recognise staff making outstanding contributions to the learning experience and success of our students. Nominations are made within departments and are then submitted for consideration at faculty level. Each faculty then nominates individuals to go forward for consideration by the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Education Awards panel for the Provost’s Education Award.

Individuals or teams whose nomination is selected by their faculty receive a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Faculty Education award.

The shortlist for the Provost’s Education Award will be announced at the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Education Conference on Tuesday 19 May 2020. The Education Awards will take place on Wednesday 10 June 2020.
