Dr Parama Chaudhury WINS Consultant of the Year Award: Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Awards for Innovation & Enterprise 2019

Another well-deserved congratulations is in order, to our respected colleague Dr Parama Chaudhury for being recognised and awarded for winning Consultant of the Year Award, at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø’s Awards for Innovation and Enterprise 2019.

Exceptional staff, students and alumni from across the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø community were recognised for their outstanding range of innovative work, spanning drug discovery and regenerative medicine through to virtual reality exploration of arts and culture.

The awards capped off a hugely successful 12 months for innovation and enterprise activities at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø. Highlights include £438 million of investment in Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø gene therapy spinouts and team of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø undergraduates who won the $1m Hult Prize.Ìý

Addressing the audience at the awards, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø’s President and Provost, Professor Michael Arthur, emphasised the importance of innovation and enterprise activities in enhancing research and teaching and tackling societal challenges.

The wide range of innovation and enterprise activities at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø were also showcased, with various inspirational awards. As well as Dr Parama Chaudhury’s day job, she is committed to leading training for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office’s Diplomatic Academy.
