From 1st January Imran Rasul takes听over as Managing Editor of the , for a four year term.听

The Journal publishes articles of the highest scientific quality in theoretical and empirical economics, and is committed to promoting the ambitions of the EEA, the development and application of economics as a science, as well as the communication and exchange between teachers, researchers and students in economics.

Professor听Rasul repaces听Juuso Valimaki who was thanked by the EEA for his services, energy and dedication over the past few years.

Imran said of the appointment; "It is an honour to be asked by the EEA to take on this role. I am looking forward to leading a great editorial team, with the aim of building on JEEA鈥檚 position as one of the foremost听general interest journals in economics.鈥�
