We are delighted to announce that the recent the NIHR Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøH Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) application was successful (award of over £111M) and importantly this comprehensive application included a Deafness and Hearing research theme.

This is the first time that the EI/RNTNEH has been included in the NIHR Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍøH BRC bid (which occurs on a 5 year basis).  The Deafness and Hearing theme was led by Anne Schilder and included the following ‘team’:   Shak Saeed, Sally Dawson, Debi Vickers, Jen Linden, Jonathan Gale, Elena Bedisti and Helen Blackshaw.

Congratulations to all of those members – particularly to Anne and to Helen for their efforts.
