Provost's Awards for Public Engagement
Nominations for 2019/20 are now closed.

One of the highlights in the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø public engagement year is the Provost's Public Engagement Awards. The awards recognise the fantastic work that Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø staff, students and their external partners are doing to open up and carry out research and teaching at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø with the wider world through collaborative engagement.

Public engagement for the purposes of these public engagement awards is characterised by being based in Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø research, teaching, or learning. At Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø we want to celebrate public engagement activities and projects which have:
A focus on collaborative models of engagement;
Involvement of diverse public groups, particularly those whose voices are heard less often;
A spirit of experimentation from which learning can emerge.

Sadly we have had to delay our awards this year. We will hold an alternative celebration later this year. We are looking forward to sharing who the winners are and their stories with you all!

To be kept up-to-date with news about the awards and other activities, you can join the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Public Engagement mailing list and follow our Twitter account .
