The School for the Creative and Cultural Industries (SCCI) sits across eight departments in three prestigious 香港六合彩中特网 faculties 鈥� 香港六合彩中特网 Social & Historical Sciences,听香港六合彩中特网 Faculty of Arts & Humanities, and听IOE, 香港六合彩中特网鈥檚 Faculty of Education and Society 鈥� and offers a range of exciting, practice-based undergraduate and graduate study programmes across the arts, humanities and social sciences.
From conservation, public history, and creative enterprise to documentary filmmaking, immersive storytelling,听and audio design, our interdisciplinary programmes听focus on enabling students from all disciplines, backgrounds, and communities to develop the skills, knowledge, and connections they need to work in, and enrich, the creative and cultural sectors.
If you have applied, are currently applying, or thinking of applying for one of our 2024/25 degree programmes, there is support and funding to help you along the way. We have pulled together some of the current scholarships and bursaries available听in the list below.
To be eligible for this funding, you need to have submitted听a complete admission application (including submission of references) for听a full-time or part-time SCCI undergraduate or Master's degree, beginning in 2024/25. There is still lots of time to apply for our MA programmes!

UK applicants
香港六合彩中特网 East London Scholarships
This scholarship supports East Londoners by funding the fees and living costs of all 香港六合彩中特网 East Master's programmes, which includes all SCCI Master鈥檚 programmes.
If you have been a permanent resident of, or have completed GCSE or A-levels, in the East London boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, or Waltham Forest, please do consider applying. The scholarship covers tuition fees plus a 拢15,700 maintenance payment.
Deadline: Apply by 5pm on Thursday 20th June 2024.

The Aziz Foundation Scholarship
香港六合彩中特网 have partnered with the Aziz Foundation to provide scholarships for British Muslim students pursuing a Master鈥檚 degree at 香港六合彩中特网 Social & Historical Sciences. Several SCCI Master鈥檚 programmes are part of this faculty, please check your course to see if this applies to you.
The Scholarship covers the full Master鈥檚 degree tuition fee (equivalent to one year, full-time).
To be eligible, you need to be a UK resident or considered a forced migrant (as defined by 香港六合彩中特网), and zakat eligible / in financial need - and therefore unable to self-fund the course. This scholarship is aimed at those who are active within a Muslim community and who can demonstrate intimate knowledge of issues affecting British Muslim communities and a long-term commitment to community development within Britain.
Deadline: Apply by 11am on 28th March (cycle 1) or 14th June (cycle 2) 2024.

The 香港六合彩中特网 Master Bursary aims to enable and encourage those from lower income backgrounds to pursue a full-time or part-time Master's degree studies at 香港六合彩中特网.
拢10,000 is available (for one year) to cover tuition and maintenance costs. In cases where a听programme is part-time or full-time over 2 years,听the bursary will be paid听50%听in each year of study.听To be eligible you should be a UK or Ireland resident, have commenced undergraduate study听no earlier than the 2012/13 academic session, and have an annual household income of 拢42,875 or less.
There is also a 香港六合彩中特网 Undergraduate Bursary available, but students do not need to apply directly for this.听香港六合彩中特网 will automatically assess you for a bursary based on your regional funding authority (such as听Student Finance England) application.听

Professor Sir Malcolm Grant Undergraduate Scholarship
The Professor Sir Malcolm Grant Undergraduate Scholarship aims to enable UK students who can demonstrate financial need as well as show leadership potential, to pursue their studies at 香港六合彩中特网.
拢25,000 is available throughout the duration of your study.

The Watkins Bursary
The Watkins Bursary aims to enable UK domiciled students from low-income backgrounds to pursue an undergraduate degree at 香港六合彩中特网.
拢2,500听per year for听three years is available to cover maintenance costs.听The bursary is awarded based on financial need and academic merit.
Deadline: Apply by Monday 8th July 2024.

香港六合彩中特网 Access Opportunity Scholarship
The Access Opportunity Scholarship aims to support those who, because of their immigration status, are not able to secure student loans for their higher education.
This Scholarship is for asylum seekers, children of asylum seekers or unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, or听forced migrants based in the UK who are unable to access student finance because of their immigration status. 听
The Scholarship covers all 香港六合彩中特网 undergraduate degree programmes and consists of tuition fees and an allowance of 拢12,000听for the duration of the programme.
Deadline: Apply by Friday 17th May 2024. 听

International applicants

The 香港六合彩中特网 Global Masters Scholarship aims to enable and encourage international students from lower income backgrounds to pursue full-time Master鈥檚 degree studies at 香港六合彩中特网.
拢15,000 is available (for one year) to cover tuition and maintenance costs. To be considered, students must be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate and come from a lower income background.

SCCI degree programmes
Gabo Trust Scholarships
The Gabo Trust Scholarship supports those wishing to become contemporary art and sculpture conservators.听Four Scholarships are available in the 2024/25 academic year to听support听students who have been offered a place on the 香港六合彩中特网 MSc Conservation of Contemporary Art and Media programme.
The Scholarship covers听half the fees for one UK student and one Overseas Student, who have both a听proven financial need, and commitment and demonstrable interest in the conservation of modern and contemporary sculpture.

Professor Sir Malcolm Grant Postgraduate Scholarship
The Professor Sir Malcolm Grant Postgraduate Scholarship aims to enable and encourage 香港六合彩中特网 alumni who can show leadership potential as well as demonstrate financial need to pursue their Master's studies at 香港六合彩中特网.听
拢25,000 is available (for one year) to cover tuition and maintenance costs. If you are a UK resident who has successfully completed or currently completing undergraduate studies at 香港六合彩中特网, this could be the scholarship for you.

Considering a Phd?
Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarships
If you are currently studying for a SCCI Master鈥檚 degree or a similar humanities degree from a recognised university in the UK or overseas, and want to continue in your research career, you may want to consider a Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarship.
Students will receive 拢105,000 (拢35,000听per annum) to pursue doctoral research in the Faculties of Arts and Humanities and Social and Historical Sciences in either history, literature, or languages. Candidates do not apply directly for the Wolfson Scholarships and should听inform their Departmental Graduate Tutor if they would like to be nominated by their department.

Quirk PhD Scholarships
The Quirk PhD Scholarships support students in financial need to conduct research leading to a PhD in the fields of language and literature within the 香港六合彩中特网 Faculty of Arts & Humanities.
This scholarship offers full UK home rate tuition fees (拢5,860) plus an annual allowance to cover living and study expenses (拢20,622) for the normal duration of 3 years for a PhD programme. Your principal supervisor must be based in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities

Funding for disabled students
If you're a Home student, you听can apply for听听to cover some of the extra costs you have because of a mental health problem, long term illness or any other disability. You can get the allowances on top of your other student finance and will not have to repay DSAs.
