Teaching

To promote our work, and to increase awareness of databases and the Gene Ontology (GO) curation process, we are involved in a number of teaching initiatives:

Each year, we run a two-day , designed to boost understanding of bioinformatics resources and their use.
We teach a 叠颈辞颈苍蹿辞谤尘补迟颈肠蝉听尘辞诲耻濒别听with the 香港六合彩中特网听 course.
For many years we have participated in the Community Assessment of Community Annotation (CACAO) competition.听

Highlights

Ruth Lovering Resignation

Although I resigned at the end of August 2023, I am听still working through the GO annotations that need to be revised (due to a change in the GO Consortium guidelines). In addition, I have听been invited to provide a few lectures at 香港六合彩中特网 and I have a few papers to complete. Thank you again to the British Heart Foundation, Alzheimer Research UK and Parkinson's UK for their funding and thank you to all of the scientists and members of the GO consortium that have collaborated with the Functional Annotation team.听Most importantly, thank you to all the biocurators who joined the team, you were a pleasure to work with and made an amazing impact on the GO annotation of听human gene products.
