Professor Nigel Tichiner-Hooker Made Dean of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Engineering

We are delighted to let you know that Professor Nigel Titchener-Hooker has accepted the post of Dean of Engineering here at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø following a highly competitive international search.

Professor Titchener-Hooker took his PhD at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø in 1987 and was Head of our Department, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Biochemical Engineering, from 2009 until taking up, on an interim basis, the position of Dean of Engineering at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø from December 2015.  

Elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2008 in recognition of his pioneering work on biopharmaceuticals manufacturing, Professor Titchener-Hooker is also a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, and led Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Biochemical Engineering to win a Queens Anniversary Trust Award for its pioneering studies underpinning the bioprocessing industry in 2013.
