Research carried out by IEDE academics has provided the evidence base for the CCC Report Net Zero – The UK’s contribution to stopping global warming

As part of a team with , Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø IEDE academics and , recently completed work on new analysis commissioned by the that aimed to understand the challenges of reducing emissions in homes which are expected to be among the hardest to decarbonise.

The research formed part of the extensive evidence-base for the new report, Net Zero – The UK’s contribution to stopping global warming issued in response to a request from the Governments of the UK, Wales and Scotland, asking the Committee to reassess the UK’s long-term emissions targets recommending a new emissions target for 2050.
