香港六合彩中特网 IEDE staff participate at the Building Simulation and Optimization (BSO) 2018 conference

There was great representation from IEDE members of staff and students with papers on topics ranging from building performance modelling, occupant behaviour modelling and modelling uncertainty analysis to life cycle analysis.

The is an affiliate of a non-profit international society of building performance simulation researchers, developers and practitioners, dedicated to improving the built environment. IBPSA-England is founded to advance and promote the science of building performance simulation in order to improve the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of new and existing buildings. It was founded in 2006 as one of the regional affiliates, and has grown to have a membership of more than 500 participants. The society is run by elected by the membership, three of whom are IEDE members of staff. Any individual with an interest in the field of building simulation can become an individual member of IBPSA-England.

The IBPSA-England biennial international conference took place on 11 and12 September at the University of Cambridge with more than 聽120 delegates in attendnance. over the two days of the very successful conference.

There was great representation from IEDE at the conference with three members of staff chairing sessions on building stock modelling, retrofit analysis and fa莽ade modelling and eight members of staff and eight PhD students presenting their research in seven oral presentations on diverse topics, ranging from building performance modelling, occupant behaviour modelling and modelling uncertainty analysis to life cycle analysis:
