Dr Sarah Wise awarded prestigious UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship

Dr Sarah Wise (Lecturer in Agent-Based Modelling and Course Director for our MSc Smart Cities and Urban Analytics programme at CASA)听has been awarded a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship. The prestigious fellowship is awarded听to 'outstanding individuals' across the UK in order to support their careers whilst听tackling听ambitious challenges. Sarah will be leading a project听tracking how Ebola spreads as a function of human behaviour and transportation patterns. The project will be titled听Agent-based Modelling for Ebola Risk Reduction: Understanding and Mitigating the Potential for Global Transportation-fuelled Epidemics (ABMERR). She will also be collaborating with M茅decins Sans Fronti猫res and British Red Cross.
