We're delighted to see Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Arts & Humanities departments ranked in the top ten of the Guardian's subject tables, showcasing the best universities for student experience.
This year’s , published on 9 September 2024, has ranked several of the faculty's subjects in the top ten of the subject tables, showcasing the high quality experience our students have while studying at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Arts & Humanities.Â
- Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø English ranked 5th in the English subject table. Â
- Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Greek and Latin ranked 7th in the Classics and Ancient History subject table.
- Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Philosophy ranked 6th in the Philosophy subject table. Â
- Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø is ranked joint 8th for Languages and Linguistics, including our departments Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS).
- Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Slade School of Fine Art ranked 4th in the Fine Art subject table.Â
The Guardian rankings look at which universities give their students the best experience. Universities are ranked through eight different scores, which form a total out of 100. These include what students say about their teaching and feedback in the annual National Student Survey.
The Guardian University Guide 2025 was published on 9 September 2024 and ranked Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø 9th overall.
