Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø research into Neanderthal archaeology featured in a recent BBC documentary presented by Sir David Attenborough.
The programme, 'Attenborough and the Mammoth Graveyard', broadcast in late December on BBC1, included ²Ñ²¹³Ù³Ù³ó±ð·ÉÌý±Ê´Ç±è±ð (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Archaeology South-East) sharing the results of excavations at La Cotte de St Brelade while Nick Ashton (British Museum and Honorary Professor, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Institute of Archaeology) explained the evolution of stone tool using cultures in Northern Europe.
Ongoing research excavations at La Cotte de St Brelade, run through Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Archaeology South-East, have featured in many documentaries over the past decade. However, this was a rare opportunity to reach a very wide audience through prestigious coverage on BBC1, presented by a science broadcasting legend!
The programme is available to watch until Monday 31 January via the link below.
