Biography

I听am a medical anthropologist whose work examines the interface between science, society and biomedicine, with听over 10听years experience听of leading cross disciplinary research projects and developing collaborations with colleagues in Brazil and other regions in Latin America.听I have ongoing听research听interests听in questions of embodiment, gender and health inequalities, including how this is currently being shaped by developments surrounding the Anthropocene. I convene the UK鈥檚 first听ever MSc听in听Biosocial Medical Anthropology听and am deeply committed to cross-disciplinary dialogue, exchange and听engagement听in, and beyond the university, concerning health, environments听and biosocial approaches.
