Emily Hull receives academic award for her research

We are delighted to announceÌýthat Emily Hull has been granted theÌýBritish Federation of Women Graduates (BFWG) Caroline Coignou award for herÌýresearch on American journalist and historianÌýIrving Kristol.

The is an inclusive organisation of women with degrees or equivalent qualifications, whose vision is to build a better life for in women in and through education. Their academic awards are offered to women postgraduate students on research doctoral programmes at higher education institutions in Great Britain.

Emily's research studies the intellectual career of Irving Kristol (1920-2009), the former Trotskyist and so-called 'Godfather' of new-conservatism. HerÌýproject is funded by the Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarship. SheÌýis pursuing her PhD at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Institute of the Americas under the supervision of Dr Nick Witham and Dr Nadia Hilliard.
