Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø

We would like to warmly congratulate Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø alumna Hanqi Lu on her recent acceptance to the PhD programme at the prestigious Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

Hanqi says of her time at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø Americas: 'I learned a lot when I was at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÖÐÌØÍø, especially in areas such as critical thinking skills. Under the supervision of Dr Engstrom, I finished my dissertation about Latin America and sustainable development. Dr Engstrom was extremely helpful and approachable. I will be starting my PhD at the Institute of Latin America of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences on September this year, and I am working to improve my Spanish.'

Hanqi completed her MSc in International Relations of the Americas under the supervision of Dr Par Engstrom in 2019.
