Ifeanyi Awachie is a Nigeria-born, Atlanta-raised writer and curator based between New York and London. With a B.A. in English and creative writing from Yale University, she is the author of . Her writing has been published in , and she is writer and director of This Thing Is Not for You (2021), produced by WATZS Productions, LLC. She is Founder, Director, and Chief Curator of , a global contemporary African arts festival. She is also a creative director of  and a founding member of The Politics of Pleasure Collective. Ifeanyi holds an M.A. in Global Creative and Cultural Industries from SOAS University of London and is currently a Ph.D. student in Cinema Studies and a Corrigan Fellow at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
