Are you an Early Career Researcher interested in collaborative research, but not sure where to get started? Applying for a collaborative grant, but want to be aware of potential challenges? Or are you right in the middle of a collaborative project and would appreciate some advice? Then this event is for you!

The Early Careers Network of the Collaborative Social Science Domain (CSSD) warmly invites you to our upcoming 鈥淎sk us Anything鈥� panel event. 听We are extremely lucky to have four excellent speakers, all of whom come from different disciplines and career stages, but are very experienced in collaborative work. During our event, each of them will provide a short introduction to their work with a focus on their collaborative experiences, before we will have a panel discussion aimed answering all of your questions about successful collaborative research!

Our panel
Raffaele Buono (he/him), doctoral candidate, 香港六合彩中特网 Anthropology. He has a background in social science, but during his PhD has spent more than a year training at 香港六合彩中特网 Computer Science. His current research investigates social robotics in Japanese academic laboratories.听 He wants to explore ways to foster collaboration between anthropology and computer science towards the establishment of a common language.

(she/her), is Senior Lecturer in Quantitative Social Science, MRC Unit of Lifelong Health and Ageing, Faculty of Population Health Sciences, and Centre for Longitudinal Studies, Institute of Education. 听Praveetha is an Associate Professor with a cross-faculty academic post at 香港六合彩中特网. She works with Institute of Education and the Departmentof Population Science and Experimental Medicine. Her work focuses on health inequalities and the intersection between physical and mental health. She was named on Forbes' 30 under 30 list for Science and Healthcare and received an ESRC Impact Prize for her research on public policy.

(she/her), Culture, Communication听& Media, Institute of Education is a Research Fellow on the Move2Learn project, a researcher-practitioner collaborative project studying young children鈥檚 embodied learning in science museums. She also has experience in sci-art work using different media to communicate science ideas to a variety of audiences, including 鈥淧luto and Charon 鈥� A Planetary Waltz鈥�, a collaboration between astronomers and contemporary classical composers.

听(she/her) is Professor of Medical Sociology and Head of the Research, Primary Care and Population Health, Faculty of Population Health Sciences. 听Her research interests focus on (i) medical care decision making,(ii) the impact of complex interventions, technology and treatment adherence on healthcare provider-patientcommunication and (iii) patient and public involvement in medical research and education.听 All of Fiona鈥檚 work involves cross-disciplinary collaboration.We look forward to seeing you at the event!
