How does their mobility within the EU affect Roma people’s self-identities and how they are perceived by others?Ìý
How do cultural identity and socio-economic status intertwine? What are roots of social inequality among Roma people in contemporary Europe, and how can these inequalities be overcome? Why has it been so difficult for Roma people to mobilise and unite to defend their own interests? Is racism directed against Roma essentially similar to other forms of racism?
