Contents: typescript copy of Bromhead's diaries of his missions to Russia and Italy to show propaganda films to Russian troops and Italian ex-prisoners of war respectively. The diaries mainly give details of his work and daily routine although some comments on the wider political and military situation are made. The copy was made from the ms original by his son Major John Bromhead in 1972 who added explanatory and background notes, ms maps and photographs of some of the places mentioned in the diaries. Also contains a few original photographs and related papers including photographs of Bromhead meeting King George V in February 1917 and the menu from Bromhead's lunch with Tsar Nicholas II in October 1916.
