The award was split: six-sevenths went to Pinney; one-seventh went to Woodley (Parson) and Parson.

T71/888: claim from John Frederick Pinney, as mortgagee in possession. Counterclaim from the Parson family, as legatees under the will of Tabitha Parson, for 拢5969. Counterclaim from the Semper family, as executors of Dudley Semper. The costs of the claimant were to be paid by the executors of Dudley Semper.

T71/1610: letter from Charles Shearman, of Grays Inn, for J.F. Pinney, asking for more information on the claim of the Parson family, whose claim was for 拢1500 based on the will (dated 01/06/1771) of Edward Parson, of Little Pardieu [Parndon], Essex, bequeathing 拢1500 to his son Jasper Parson secured on estates real and personal, and a further 拢2000 being a debt due by the said testator to the said Jasper Parson. However, there was no evidence in the will for the second 拢2000.
