The debate will bring together established academics and 香港六合彩中特网 graduate students to explore contemporary Taiwan-China relations in the light of the recent Sunflower protest movement (太阳花学运).

We will examine the impact of closer economic ties and greater freedom of movement on cross-straits relations. We will also look at the influence these changes are likely to have have on Taiwan's domestic politics. Finally, we will ask what an ideal relationship would be between Taiwan and mainland China and how to reconcile different perspectives.?

Speakers will include Dr Lily Chang (Lecturer in the History of Early Modern and Modern China, 香港六合彩中特网) and Dylan Brethour (Graduate student, 香港六合彩中特网 History).

This event is convened by the 香港六合彩中特网 China Centre for Health and Humanity (CCHH), and organised by Dylan Brethour.
