Bartlett professor's book becomes Routledge's 2017 bestseller

The latest work of The Bartlett's Professor CJ Lim has topped Routledge's list of bestsellers.

Professor CJ Lim's latest book Ìýhas reached number one onÌýRoutledge’s 2017 Annual Bestsellers list. The book is Professor Lim's fourth work that hasÌýachieved the topÌýposition. Ìý

In 'Inhabitable Infrastructures', exploresÌýthe potential of climate change-related multi-use infrastructuresÌýinspiredÌýbyÌýscience fiction and futurology as well as current scientific knowledge.Ìý

Seven cities – London, Nuuk, Copenhagen, Gaochun, Malé, Maribor, and Melbourne – are identified in the book as climate change case studies in order to establish hypotheses and strategies for new forms.Ìý

About Professor CJ LimÌý

ÌýisÌýProfessor of Architecture and Urbanism at The BartlettÌýand the founder of Studio 8 Architects. His teaching and designs focus on multi-disciplinary innovative interpretations of social, political, and environmental sustainability programmes.

He is the recipient of the Royal Academy of Arts London ‘Grand Architecture Prize’ and has authored 12 books, including three other annual bestsellers:Ìý‘Smartcities + Eco-warriors’ (2010), ‘Short Stories: London in two-and-a-half dimensions’ (2011) and ‘Food City’ (2014).Ìý
